He is a 10th Degree Black Belt, the Founder of Souseiki Ryu Sekkinsen Shigaisen, a retired USMC Gunnery Sergeant he was also selected as the Chief Instructor of the first Marine Corps Martial Arts School in Okinawa, Japan, the only school to run a Instructor Trainer Course outside of HQMC. He has also been designated a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and one of the Co- Founders of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program as stated by it founder Col George Bristol. Hanshi is 5th Degree Black Belt Martial Arts Instructor Trainer in Marine Corps Martial Arts Program and is a 5th level in Urban Fighting Systems. While in Japan, he directed the first ISKA Oriental Rules Kickboxing Championships in Okinawa, Japan. Awarded Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service for Volunteering his time to train US Military,Department of State, DEA, US Special Forces, Polish Special Forces, Romanian Special Forces, US Army Civil Service and Embassy Personnel at Abu Dhabi the Art of Self Defense and Martial Arts since November 2003 Grandmaster Wright has been inducted into the WORLD KARATE UNION HALL OF FAME (WKUHOF) in 2002 and inducted into the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MARTIAL ARTS HALL OF FAME (I.A.M.A.) in 2003, I.A.M.A SENIOR HALL OF FAME, 2005, WORLD HEAD OF SOKESHIP COUNCIL, 2005 Board Member of Universal Martial Arts Association Executive Board Board Member of World Karate Union Hall Of Fame - 2003 - present Board Member of International Association of Martial Arts Member of the Board of Directors of Okinawa Martial Arts Association of Japan Member of the World Karate Association of Japan World Head of Sokeship Council "Grand Master of the Year Award" 2006 & 2007 World Head of Sokeship Council "Grand Master Pinnacle Award" 2009 Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors "Outstanding Contribution to the Martial Arts" June 2010 Guest speaker at Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Course 1-10 Graduation at Camp Leatherneck Afghanistan. Shihan Ricky Branch from 1998 to present has been studying under Hanshi Wright. He started out compteting in point fighting competitions in Okinawa, Japan. From there he transitioned over to full contact oriental rules kickboxing. He went to China twice to compete in tournaments. One was full contact and the 2nd was an underground pit fighting match. In 2004 he was awarded Fighter of the Year by the World Karate Association. 
He currently holds the rank of 6th Dan in Souseiki Ryu and still continues training and dedicating his time to teaching and devloping new students in the art.

Shihan Jeremy Rosa started Wrestling and Tae Kwon Do at age 14. Within 2 years he achieved his Black belt in Tae Kwon Do and competed in full contact TKD Tournaments. He has also studied other martial arts as well, such as Aikido, Karate, American Kickboxing, Krav Maga, BJJ, and Muay Thai. He started training in Souseiki Ryu under Hanshi Wright in Okinawa in 2001. There he won multiple Oriental Rules Kickboxing point Karate Tournaments in the (Black Belt over 165lb division). - 5th Degree Black Belt in Souseiki Ryu Sekkinsen Shigaisen
- Brown Belt Instructor in Marine Corp Martial Arts (earned Green belt instructor qual from Hanshi Wright)
